A clean house....PLEASE!

My homemaking skills (keeping a clean, organized home) are slipping. I just don't spend the time that it requires to keep it looking spiffy! I am bored of my decor, carpet, paint, and pretty much everything else. Yet, I have no time, extra money, or desire to really take care of it.

When I was working last year, I had house cleaners who tackled my deep cleaning (working moms need a little help). I decided to let that luxury go (mostly decided not to spend the money) and convinced myself that I could keep up.

Ha Ha Ha! It's not going so well and I just can't spend the money for cleaners (I've got kids starting college soon!)

I've divided up weekly jobs that rotate for the my kids as part of their allowance and they are doing an ok job, yet my house still seems so messy and unorganized.

I need help! Suggestions! Anything!

I've lost the desire and need some way to motivate me.

Come on guys, give me your secrets. I see your clean houses!

DRN EXPO in Las Vegas

We had our first trade show for our DanceKicks line a couple of weeks ago. To say it was a success is an understatement! We had so much interest and took quite a few orders. I put on my salesman hat and added new customers as quickly as I could. We were also invited by a large Dance magazine to attend their cocktail party on the upper floor suite of Treasure Island. We stuck out being the only ones having a good time without drinking:)! They had a pretty awesome magician who entertained us the whole night.

This trade show resulted in tying up pretty much all my extra time these last couple of weeks.  Blogging is going to have to take a back seat for awhile, but here are some pics of the event.

Our team - JoEllen, Renee, Pam, Brooke, and me

This was our booth all set up! We had a lot of people comment on how much they liked how organized it was!

It was very exhausting work, but we found some time to wind down at PF Changs that night! Quinn was our muscle man who set up our booth and did whatever was needed to help us out. He even took a stab at selling!
