Easter

Easter came early this year! We decorated eggs on Friday, then off to bed for the Easter Bunny. Saturday morning came and my two anxious girls were playing games together until 7:30 (I wasn't getting up any earlier). While they were waiting in their bedrooms, Emma spotted an Easter basket. The bunny had played a trick on them and hid their baskets in their rooms this year!

Squeals of delight were heard throughout the house as they discovered a giant chocolate bunny in their baskets!

We braved the weather Saturday morning and headed over to the Rocky Mountain Mortgage Easter Egg hunt. It was so cold and rainy, yet they were able to round up lots of goodies and prizes from the hunt.
I even participated in the Women's hunt. All these years I've been giving my kids tips on how to get the most eggs and it is a lot harder than it looks. I nearly got trampled by the mob of women! I came away with 8 little plastic eggs (wha hoo!). Totally not worth the trouble!!!!

3 Posts in one day? That's never happened!

Scot just upgraded my computer, YES! I was transferring my picture albums and realized my lack of blogging, well keeping track of my family's life through blogging, has fallen behind.
Dance competition season is here and almost every weekend has been tied up. The girls are doing great this year and most importantly having fun.

Emma and her duo partner took second, even with that broken arm.

My newest nephew (isn't he the cutest?) was born March 19th. My sister-in-law happens to have 3 girls who compete in dance competitions with my girls. That weekend while she was in the hospital with new baby Kyle, I was juggling lots of hair-dos and make-up sessions that Saturday morning.
Wow, how do women with more than 2 girls in dance do it? They are out there and I just have to say that they are amazing!!!

Moab - 3/25-27

In case you are wondering, Yes that is snow falling behind us!
We met my sister, her family, and my mom in Moab (totally ditched school and work, hehe). Thursday we headed out on a ride and when we got to our destination, it began lightly snowing. We didn't think it would last or turn into anything, but Mother Nature had more up her sleeve.
We literally drove back, MANY MILES, through a blizzard! Our legs, faces and hands were soooo cold. At one point, Scot had Emma completely under a blanket and wrapped up like a cocoon.

St George

We can't get enough of Grandma's new St George house! It backs up to the most fabulous park and has views to die for. We will be spending a lot more time hanging out there (Sorry mom, I'm putting together a whole lot of personal items to leave there so I never have to pack). Nothing like leaving behind the busy life and lazily enjoying a perfect vacation spot!!!
