Spring Break

Saint George over Spring Break was beautiful!
Hanging out with Cinda (with her kiddos) and Carlie (with her kiddos) was so much fun.
We took the kids to the overlook where there is plenty of climbing and hiking

We ventured into Zions for the day and hiked the Emerald pools lower, middle, and upper falls hikes.
Our kiddos were such troopers and really enjoyed the more challenging parts of the hike.

My girls and I wishing the boys could have come...they really missed out.

Stopping for breaks with beautiful views made the hike even more fun

We made it to the upper falls

The view from the middle pools

It was breathtaking!

Easter fun

Easter came and went at our house
Everything is hidden on Easter morning, including our kid's baskets.
Scot and I giggle as they all scurry around looking for everything the Easter bunny left.
This year they found money in their eggs, candy (sugar free since the girls are on their candy diet), new dress (for the girls), gift certificates (for the boys), and a new bath towel for each of them.

Oobies!!!!
The girls have been wanting these and somehow they found their way into our house.

After all the Easter eggs were found at our house, we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house for more Easter fun!
The kids were all waiting for their uncle to open the back door and let them out for the Easter egg hunt.

Alex and Sean were like two little boys gathering candy:)

Notice the short hair on Alex?

You can't trick this girl!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Llewelyn for a fun afternoon and delicious Easter dinner...we love you!

Family ski day 2010

There is no place like Deer Valley Ski Resort!
We look forward to our annual ski day with Scot's siblings every year.
It was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine
A little slushy in the lower hills, but perfect powder on the upper

Chillin with some snacks before we hit the slopes again!

Haili following her brothers and Aunt Janna down the hill

Emma was timid at first, especially since we took her on a double blue for her first run.
She warmed up by mid-day

The views from the chair lifts are spectacular

These 3 were hitting every jump they could find

Valentines Day pictures

Found a few stray pictures while uploading everything from my camera.
Haili and Emma spent so much time decorating these Valentine boxes for their class party.
In case you can't tell,
Robot
Dog
We wrapped up these yummy Kneaders cinnamon bread to take to their teachers

Valentines Day the girls took the "No candy for 1 year Challenge".
So far, so good!

New books

My Amazon wish list just got a little smaller after these purchases.
We ordered 1,2,4 to complete the set
These silly books keep Emma laughing for days!

Haili is so in love with this series
She borrowed all but the first book from the Library
I ordered the rest of the set, so I could enjoy them:)

Been wanting to read this book for a long time...Recommended by my cousin Elena.

Saw this book on several of my Goodread friends book list

Received a lot of high praise from many of my friends

Love anything by Shannon Hale
One of my all-time favorite authors

A little nervous about this one...some friends absolutely loved the series, while others were turned off by a pretty gruesome scene in the book.

Lynzi gave high praise to this 3 book series

Can't wait to dive in with summer around the corner

Somewhere along the way, my Harry Potter books 1, 4, & 5 disappeared.

I kept hoping they'd turn up

Emma is ready to read them.

Watch! I'll find them the minute these books arrive:)

I am ready for Summer now!
Bring it on!

Ski day at Sundance

After being away from my kids for 10 days, I was very anxious to spend some time with them.
I'm always in awe of this beautiful mountain

The snow was great, my kids were awesome, and we had such a fun time together.

My baby is such a trooper trying to keep up with her big brothers and sister

We spent plenty of time catching air on this "Alex & Sean" made jump
Sean blends into this picture really well
Haili attempting the jump

Sean was so helpful in getting Emma up when she fell

Heading up
Oh, how I missed these smiles...

We topped the day off with delicious food at the Pizza Factory...mmmm!

Baby Brightyn

I am so blessed to be able to see this little girl come into our World
Born February 26th @ 12:08 A.M. in Idaho Falls, ID
She weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long
Welcomed home by her sisters, brothers, parents, Grandparents, Great-Grandma, and I

Such a beautiful baby...so in love

I spent 10 days at my sister's house helping her with her busy life while she recovered.
Between cheer practices, piano lessons, Blue & Gold Banquet, baseball, basketball, feeding tubes (for Tucker), homework, catching the bus, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry...oh the laundry a family of 7 goes through:)
It was such a privilege and I'd do it a thousand times over again.
{HUGS} to my adorable Bayli, Tanner, Tucker, Bridget, Brightyn, and Jeni & Matt
What a beautiful family you have!
